Blue line
The borders of the area to which a plan applies (marked in blue on the plan’s map). In many Arab and Palestinian localities, the outline plans are prepared by drawing a blue line around the area already built up and planning only in that area, without giving extra land for development. Existing or future buildings outside the blue line will be considered illegal.
